Robert Haubrich
I am Robert Haubrich, Church Council Chairman and a member of Valley Park United Methodist Church since August 2018. My Christian upbringing, my strong faith and belief in God, and my love for Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior are the building blocks of my spirituality; I rely upon The Holy Spirit to guide me on my daily path.
My leadership and commitment to the church is displayed through my everyday actions and many hours of volunteer time. From selecting Worship Music and emailing invitations for weekly services, to running Zoom for Sunday Services. I graciously offer my time to perform these actions each week. I am driven to help keep our church fresh and new while maintaining its traditional roots. I enjoy leading ministries such as “Sock-or-tunity” and Operation Christmas Child, and working side-by-side with other Church Members reaching out to our local communities performing Gods work and spreading the love of Jesus Christ to others. I am truly blessed to be able to work with such wonderful, caring, and giving people; the members Valley Park United Methodist Church.
Professionally, I have over 33 years experience as a local banker in the areas of Operations, Security, Facilities, and Management. I possess a passion for accuracy and details, and I enjoy working with others on process improvement opportunities and budget management. My experience has prepared me well for the role of Church Council Chairman.
I believe in our church and our church family. I believe in our outreach opportunities in our community. I believe we achieve more by working together. I believe in growing our church one member at a time, by showing our community, neighbors, friends, and family, how becoming a member of our church, offers countless opportunities for those looking for a church to get involved and reach out to others while spreading the peace and love of Jesus Christ to those we touch. I believe everyone will find themselves feeling closer to God as a member of Valley Park United Methodist Church. It is a church for everyone and one where everyone is welcomed with open, loving arms and a warm smile.
