Meet the Pastor

Rooted in Scripture, Reaching with Love Pastor Jewell Brodie Pastor Jewell Brodie has faithfully served as pastor of Valley Park United Methodist Church since 2017, following her assignment by Bishop Farr. With over nine years in pastoral ministry and a lifelong devotion to the church, she leads with deep biblical understanding, warmth, and compassion for people of every background. After a 33-year career in corporate America, Pastor Jewell answered God’s call to ministry, pursuing theological education through Webster University and Eden Theological Seminary, and deepening her biblical knowledge through Hebrew studies with the Israel Institute of Biblical Studies. Also, webinars, seminars and conferences  give  great insights to stay informed. Her ministry is rooted in a love for God’s Word and a belief that Scripture provides the foundation for transformation, guidance, and hope. She delights in helping others discover how faith can bring peace and purpose to everyday life. Outside of ministry, Pastor Jewell enjoys reading, beading, scripture writing, and spending time near lighthouses and bodies of water—symbols that remind her of God’s light and calm presence.
